A commercial wall between the firm and the Foundation, on purpose.

Two separate persons in law

SUMCKER Decor is the trading name of M/s Sumcker Interiors and Exteriors, a proprietorship. SUMCKER Foundation is a registered Section 8 company. They have different PANs, different books and different obligations.

Why the separation is strict

Money the firm gives the Foundation is only a donation if the records were never mixed. The moment the two sets of books blur, the donation stops being a donation and the Foundation’s own registrations are put at risk.

What that means in practice

Separate invoices, separate registers and separate logins. No commercial liability of this firm reaches sumckertrust.org, and no charitable receipt of the Foundation is issued by this firm.

Receipts

A donation from the firm to the Foundation is recorded here against the Foundation’s own receipt number. This firm never issues a charitable receipt — a receipt is issued by the Foundation, not by the payer.

What a client should take from this

Your order is a commercial transaction with a GST-registered firm. It is not a donation, it carries no 80G benefit, and your invoice will say exactly that.
